I think it depends state by state. Missouri has said they are about 2 weeks away from having the ability to test for antibodies. And they haven't mentioned at what kind of scale they'll be able to roll it out.

Did you have your test done today? How long until results come in?

I think Fauci already said that's a personal decision, just be careful.

So the last IHME projection was 68k deaths. I feel like we're creeping up on that number awfully fast.

They have 1472 deaths predicted for yo today. How close will they be?

Unless there is an E break somewhere I feel like that projection is going to be pretty wrong.

It looks like they've been low for a few days now, so the pace isn't dropping quite as fast as they'd predicted, but it's not WAY off or anything. I think it's likely we go over their current estimate of 68k, but whether it's 75k or 100k remains to be seen. I bet it'll be closer to the former.

We're at 1142 right now so they could be close

Yeah if only the 15k dollars in ppe and equipment I ordered wasn’t back ordered like a mother

I’m gonna probably keep doing emergency only for a week or so after the opening up and ease back just to be on the safe side

Vaccine related article:

https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2020...iotech-reports

The antibodies potently “neutralized” all the strains, which are “widely scattered on the phylogenic tree,” the researchers noted.

“This provides strong evidence that the virus is not mutating in a way that would make it resistant to a #COVID19 vaccine,” tweeted immunologist Mark Slifka of Oregon Health & Science University. “Good to know.”

If that projection is for the year there is still a long way to go.

It works on monkeys, let’s roll the dice on the vaccine and just go with it, see what happens

Really, what’s the worst that could happen?
