[Bickel] Hearing from several different people over last few days that Alex Smith is having devastating complications from his broken leg surgery battling infection. Supposedly he's had multiple surgeries to try to combat infection. Chances of him playing again in real jeaopardy.
This sucks. I was ready to move on from Alex, but he's a class individual and this is pretty ****ing awful. I'm an godless heathen, but I'm pulling for him. [Reply]

Good news. He's a good person. I hope for his sake and his family's sake that he just hangs up the cleats. He'll have a good long life ahead of him. Those concussions and almost losing his leg-he's given enough to football. [Reply]
