Not bad numbers on this super stingy dyno for a lil ol cam only 5.3~

since 5 am yesterday I have done heads on a 3.0 ranger, 4 ball joints on a crown vic, 4 ball joints on an f250 sd, timing kit and water pump on a pt cruiser, rear main seal and timing kit on a cobalt.

And helped my buddy get his motor 90 percent r and r'd in his tahoe.

Ive been busting ass , good paying weekend though lol

Me too. Except the pay part.

I’ve been trying to get poorly maintained irrigation engines to run.

Pinstripe is still there because we found it its been cleared over.

No burnouts yet, these tires are about 400 bucks a pop lol

I have the entire front end off and in my makeshift paint booth in the garage right now. I'm color matching grill and bumpers over the next couple days

Best to buy new plastic and paint it vs using old stuff... Believe me, been there, done that....tee shirt.

And find some Dupont super performance pack (2 part hardener) or equivalent.

Repainting that the second time is a bitch, real bitch. If you could get it electrostatic... probably not...

I had to dig back into this today. The funky little clip that holds the pivot arm onto the barrel lock had fallen off. It has to be one of the dumbest clips I've ever seen. I'm hoping it's the last time I have to dig back into it.

the middle part of bumper is chromed, I purchased a ready to paint black one.

The top and bottom parts of the bumper are textured plastic, I scuffed around on those and took the little scratches out and painted them.

The front grille is also plastic/chrome, and my ready to paint replacement will be here tomorrow.

It doesn't have to be spectacular, its a bumper, i'm painting black plastic with Bullydog adhesive promoter, SEM flex primer, and then Duplicolor black and clear from a can.

Only about 75% of the metal bumper can be seen once the plastic is on, and that's the part i concentrated hardest on lol. The textured bumpers hide any imperfections from the paint, and both the metal bumper and the grille are going to be cleared, sanded, then cleared again before a final wet sanding/polish.
