The Chiefs have released Berry with a post-June 1 designation, a source tells me. Means the Chiefs will save around $9.5m on the cap this year and $5.5m next year.

Hoping Watts can step into Berry's shoes. Have high hopes for him.

Probably not because we would have heard "Sutton coached a SB-winning defense" over and over and over and over again. We'd still be a 3-4 scheme and probably would have lost Justin Houston and that's it.
