Some restricted free agent intrigue: the Chiefs hosted Cardinals DT Xavier Williams on a visit this weekend, per source. If Williams signs elsewhere, the Cardinals can match or lose him for no compensation.
Ragland
Fuller .. #1 rated slot corner in NFL last year

Hitchins.. Zero missed tackles last year
Amberson .. led the NFL in passes defensed 2 years ago
If he can find draft talent similar to his accomplishments so far we can all roll in joy goo. [Reply]

Yep.. and that’s why it’s going to be tough to pull off.
I don’t want to sign the guy to a deal that they absolutely can’t match, cause I doubt he’s worth that. Arizona liked him enough to tender him, they’ll probably keep him around. [Reply]

I don't think we realize how much Peters (as good as he was) put a drag on our defense. They mentioned his name on Sirius the other day when they were talking about someone that didn't like to tackle. The other guy blurted out "Like Peters" [Reply]
wonder if they could get tricky with the offer and backload it in a way that would keep the Cards from matching cause they have to pay David Johnson next year.
I guess not since they get 15-20 million back from Sam Bradford. [Reply]
I don't know, maybe Arizona doesn't want him. The trick is getting him to sign the sheet. If they match, they match. I'll say this, I wouldn't sign him to an offer sheet on a Sunday, why give them extra time. I'd fax it in around 2 pm tomorrow. [Reply]
