We really missed him against the 49ers. Dirty Dan is fantastic in small bursts, but can get exposed when asked to do too much. The 49ers seemed to make an effort to target him whenever they could and it hurt.

Luckily Fuller came through huge in the clutch for us.

I love Dirty Dan on this team however he isn’t a true safety. He is best suited as a Safety/LB hybrid. Even when Thornhill was playing, Dorty Dan got about 80% of the defensive snaps still

Yup. Dan's not a good "safety." He's ok as a coverage backer, if, as you said, he's not used too much. Fuller and Fenton saved our collective asses in terms of depth.

Chiefs safety Juan Thornhill, who tore his ACL in the season finale, expects to be ready to go by training camp.

Pretty cool if he heals up and is able to be impactful early in the year.

May not have gotten there without him, though!

It really sucks for him that he didn't get to play in playoffs this year. Hope he's doing great and comes back kicking ass.

Andy Reid on Juan Thornhill, who didn’t play much: “He’s a situational guy right now.”

He hasn't looked the same. I hope it gets better.
