We all have varying opinions about the impact of this, the numbers, etc. We will all never agree with each other. But we can all keep it civil.

Thanks!

Missouri isn’t testing fast enough for numbers to spike. :-)

Not exactly saying "**** it", but trying to get people's lives and livelihoods started again. We can't "shelter in place" forever.

70k total tests as of today. We've come a long ways from where we started from.

We still dont have enough testing or immunity built up, I'm not even sure how prepared our hospital's are as I havent looked up any sort of data. Seems like opening too soon is just a waste of the past few months?

You aren't going to build up immunity being locked down. Unfortunately your body has to come into contact t with things to become immune to them.

The numbers are supposed to spike, or at least curve up. You can't hide from it for the rest of your life. It has to run its course eventually. The goal was always just to keep the curve slightly under our hospital's ability to handle patients. ...or at least it should have been.

If anything, it appears we locked down many areas of the country too tight and our economy will be expected to carry the burden of playing it safe. Obviously, NYC is an example of where it should have been locked down even tighter than it was. We're not NYC.

No way in hell I'd go to a gym though. Fuck all that shit.

One thing to consider when factoring in world mortality is the near certainty that this is being massively undercounted in the developing world.

Ecuador's COVID mortality is likely being undercounted by a factor of 15. As of Friday, they had 503 reported deaths, yet mortality for the period of reporting was 7600 deaths higher than the previous year, and the baseline mortality rate was three times higher than normal, eight times higher than normal in the capital, and people were being buried in coffins made of cardboard.

Nothing confirmed. We'll know for sure later this week.
I'll take every Triumph employ with me and protest on McMurrays front porch.

Like any beans? Or certain types? I mean if we're talking kidney beans or lima beans I couldn't give less of a fuck. But if it's great northern beans...well that's an issue.

There's a black and pinto bean shortage due to poor harvests Mexico and Canada but that's unrelated to COVID-19.
