So that was arranged? They planned that holding call and sack that pushed the Falcons out of FG range to seal the win?
What exactly is your point?
Do you think fans around the league would be surprised if Daly was a NE plant?

Pioli was an absolute dumpster fire and the 'run game specialist' Daly is even worse.
Pioli had a massive ego. Think I read that he used to collect articles about himself to see what people were saying about him. I really really really doubt he would swallow his ego to run a cheat scam for the Patriots. [Reply]

I highly doubt it.
Can you explain the upside to me exactly? Why the hell would some guy who is, what, in his 30s, deliberately destroy his career for some dudes in their 60s or 70s or whatever?
And how exactly do you think he could get away with it anyway? You think the Chiefs DC pays ZERO attention to what Daly does? You think he has a bunch of rookies who have no idea how to play the position?
The whole notion is absurd. Makes no sense whatsoever. [Reply]

I'm not saying he is a plant. I seriously doubt it.
But take a look at the shady tactics used by NE and their multiple cheating fines. It's stupid to act like it isn't a possibility. [Reply]

Watch out for chemtrails, you incredible morons.
The idea that Daly is some kind of mole or whatever is ludicrous. There's no way he could do that; someone would notice. Someone would've noticed by now.
In the Colts loss, Chris Jones got hurt, Xavier Williams got hurt, and suddenly the DL was down to playing 5 guys. One of those guys was a rookie. There was no way that DL was going to play very well at that point.
In the Texans game, we played those same 5 guys and and added a guy we signed the day before. And then they played 90 snaps. That's too much of an ask for any defensive line for any team, even if you had 7 guys ready to go.
And the defense has been on the field too much this season since the Ravens game. I said right after the Ravens game that they were on the field too much, that reaching that level of exhaustion would hurt their play the following week. And then they not only played too many snaps against the Lions, but were forced to play the entire third quarter because of turnovers by the offense.
The DL starters were probably tired and sore before the Colts game kicked off. Then the Colts run the ball down their throats, and Jones and Williams get hurt. Later Clark gets hurt. I know, "next man up," but that's 3 out of 4 starters. They play the rest of the game with 5 guys.
Then those same 5 guys play 90 snaps against the Texans. The Chiefs DL has probably played the equivalent of 8 games in 6 weeks. That's simply not enough rest.
And they know they aren't playing well. And when you don't play well, you get impatient and you press. When you press, you make mistakes. [Reply]
