Can anyone recommend a website that does a thorough job of employment history using a social security number?
We're hiring on an employee that's going to be surveying plot points and transferring them to plats and we need to be sure he's coming from where he says.

The problem about the person's work reference will only get the confirmation of the history of work in starting and ending. There is nothing the HR from the other end would tell you if this is a good worker or not, neither the ex-employee was fired or left on his own. [Reply]

There is a reason for that. Too many times in the past people have put their own personal bias of the person into words. Those personal biases aren't usually accurate. Any company that allows their HR to put in their own 2 cents beyond what is legally responsible are only opening themselves up for possible future litigation. [Reply]
You are considering hiring someone that would give up their ssn before getting hired? don't hire that dumbass. And you are planning to hand a candidate's ssn over to some website you get recommended to you by football fans? Yikes. Way to say "we care about our employees!"
