Hopefully the lab processing my results didn't lock up early for the weekend...

I wasn't really expecting results back in 1 day but it would have been a nice surprise.

Look at it this way, the longer you go without any symptoms the more you know either you didn't have it or are asympto.

True. Right now I just feel like I'm fighting allergies. No different from yesterday, really.

I fight allergies everyday 365 lol. I know the struggle. Its hard for me to determine if i m sick or my allergies are a bit worse then the previous days. Pain in the ass.

Im glad i invested in weights and a heavy bag years ago. Not working out for a few months would have sucked!

Pools aren't a big deal either way. Being outside in free flowing air minimizes the virus and it aint surviving chlorine. Movie theaters, gyms, churches, concerts, restaurants bat capacity is much more concerning places.

Hospital officials have reported several people were infected with Covid-19 at a "high school swim party" in north Arkansas, Gov. Asa Hutchinson said at a briefing Saturday.

"I'm sure everybody thought was harmless. They're young, they're swimming, they're just having activity and positive cases resulted from that," Hutchinson said. "

"During this Memorial (Day) weekend, we want to be out and we want to enjoy ourselves, we want to remember this holiday and those that have served our country and given their lives in service of our country. But let's be safe and let's be disciplined at the same time," Hutchinson said.

The governor declined to provide further details on the swim party, saying "it is an important anecdote for people to understand how easy that this can spread and that we still need to be careful."

As CNN has reported, the Arkansas governor never issued a stay-at-home order to his citizens as a way to limit the spread of coronavirus nationwide.

I remember seeing a post in here that said the amount of chlorine used in swimming pools wasn't enough to kill off the virus.

most chemicals break Covid apart very easily. Unless you are having a beach party or a packed public pool I imagine it would be difficult to get it from the actual water itself. The risk is only being close to ppl in or around the pool.

"There is no evidence that the virus that causes COVID-19 can be spread to people through the water in pools, hot tubs, spas, or water play areas. Proper operation and maintenance (including disinfection with chlorine and bromine) of these facilities should inactivate the virus in the water."

Anyone hear how patients treated with remdesivir are doing? Sounds like it has been pretty widely distributed at this point.

Still not super easy to get ahold of, and some of the compassionate use data had to be revised due to an error caught in peer review.

Posted about it yesterday.
