Thanks!

Yes, not to mention the difference in physical proximity. I'm stunned that anyone would try to make the equivalence.

There's no logical reason to continue operating as normal. Stuff like banning SXSW, parades and March Madness attendees mitigates geographically spreading the disease where it may not have already had been.

Keeping mundane places open doesn't mitigate anything. So why are they still open?

Yes. It's ridiculous. Do you agree that proximity to another person combined with the volume of people has an impact on the likelihood of transmission?

On February 2nd we had 9 cases not from repatriation or the cruise ship across five states. Italy at that time had I think 3 cases. There is no reason to believe we are that far behind them. Also about Italy, their first cases were in Rome while it’s the northern region that has the majority of the cases.

Why are bars and restaurants still open right now, genious?
This is terrible for me. I can't cook. I go to restaurants for every single lunch and dinner. I guess it's ramen, cereal and lunch meat for me.

I'm pretty happy we're taking these steps, honestly. Is it an overreaction? Maybe. But I think we'll look back and be glad we took these precautions.

The problem is just that, at some point the upward curve becomes an S. It's already happened in some places. We just don't know when.

People have been talking about the measles, and vaccinating, for a very long time. This actually pisses me off, that you think vaccines haven't been a point of emphasis.

We're also not talking about cancer, right?

Your whataboutism is only serving to downplay serious issues

It's tragic, but we have a measles vaccine and the vast majority of Americans have had it.

A problem for those who didn't get vaccinated, yeah
