This isn’t going to change the fact you are a hard worker. There was a reason you were successful. Get past the virus healthy and move on and up.

Maybe you should advertise your works for $1200 a piece. Time it a couple days before the first stimulus money gets sent out.:-)

I’m fortunate in that my kids are doing great so far with no issues whatsoever.

There hasn’t been a radical change to my lifestyle at all, other than the closing of trails and parks.

I certainly don’t miss spending 90 minutes or more per day on the 101 to drop off and pick up my Middle Schooler. :-)

This next couple of weeks is going to be awful if you listen to the news.

I had just got my oldest grandson set up with the school bus after spending the last month driving 45-60 mins each way dropping off and picking up. It lasted three damn days before they went on spring break about 4 weeks ago. They're still out.:-)

But, I’d bet money that 90% of Americans thought when this was signed that it was free money with no strings attached. Because that’s how it was sold.

Not some complicated sliding scale involving different tax years. Depending on which side of the complex formulas your financials land on whether you get to keep your money or not.
Like was mentioned - it’s not complicated.

It’s a tax credit - for 2020, that does not impact your taxes refund. They will be adding whatever amount you get now to wash out whatever you got.

Plus the possibility of getting more. You won’t get less, you won’t have to pay anything (even if you make more) and it’s not taxable.

Free money... no strings attached... it will just be documented on your taxes in 2020. Does not increase your tax liability in 2020. If you get a 1500 refund normally - you’ll still get it, if you owe (like me) you will owe the same amount not more.

I am saving thousands on the kids inability to participate in their team sports , but in a few more weeks I might be willing to spend millions on building a sports complex so I can watch 1 show without being interrupted 20 times and I might burn all our board games by then too.

The models I've seen show that Missouri isn't even into the bell curve yet and the peak hitting in Mid May. We have a long way to go.
