Consider who the Ravens have played so far. Miami(fire sale team) and AZ(rebuild with rookie mini-Vick that will eventually get hurt in due time). The national sports press has been pimping Lamar like he has been 'born again' and there are no longer any issues with his throwing or reading defenses. NOT !!!! You don't correct your throwing and inability to read defenses in just one off season. Doesn't happen that quickly.

Greg Roman has just done a great job using "QB Gorilla Duct Tape"(ethnic slur NOT intended whatsoever but that is really good duct tape and why I used that brand:-)) to make Lamar's game look ALL Pro but like I said consider the teams he has played against so far. Wait till he goes against a really good defense. He will be Lamar "on the run again missing easy wide open receivers" I assure you.

It's just too bad he won't be going against a good defense this weekend, sad to say.:-)

Potential heavy rain in forecast has to heavily favor the Ravens. Plays to their run game and our lack of a run game. Weather good actually decide this game I am afraid.

The Chiefs ran for 113 in the opener. Historically, their running game has been very good under Andy Reid.

One game and suddenly we don't have a running game :-)

We held Oakland to 10 points and shut them out for 3 quarters. That does not count as at least - good?

On the surface your comment is valid but let's remember it was the "Rebuild Raiders". They still have a lot of missing pieces. And Andy did a great job in adjusting our offense going deep forcing Gruden out of his game plan of running to playing catch up which helped our defense. Had the Raiders gone up 17-0 it would have been a little more serious and Gruden continues to run all over us.

But to your point, it was a good "baby step" for our defense last week. Let's see if they can take a few more positive steps tomorrow.

That’s exactly what Jacksonville would have said last year.... and they got blown out.

I’m not saying they can’t perform, but the Chiefs ain’t worried about this weather stuff. I highly doubt.

We don’t know how good their defense is just yet. They had a fuckton of turnover this offseason and haven’t played a good offense yet.

They gave up 360 passing yards to Murray last week at home. I’d be very hesitant to label their defense as good.
