Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary,
Where is Terrell Suggs, and the supermarket shopping dairy,
I lie lay, wonder why his hugs blow
Then I just give up on life because I have no flow,
It's been forever since I urinated, you know,
flowmax is false advertising. [Reply]
KC should put in waiver claim. He is owed $352,940 for the remainder of season. Chiefs still have $21 M of cap space left. Suggs has a $2 M contract for next year.
If he refuses to report, Kansas City does not have to account for him on their 53 man roster.
Possibly some lower level waiver team claims him, but don't allow Baltimore Ravens to pick him up. [Reply]
I know we have a separate thread for Janoris Jenkins but since he is also a possible waiver claim, I will add this.
With CB Janoris Jenkins, see if he passes through waivers and if he becomes free agent, try to sign him. Currently Jenkins has a contract that pays him $10,150,000 base and roster bonus of $1 M for 2020. If he is healthy next year and we cut him, we don't owe him that. The danger would be he plays this year and has a serious injury that extends into next year (ACL, Achilles, etc...), the Chiefs would be responsible for that money. [Reply]
I don't think it works like that - a successful waiver claim puts the claiming team at the end of the waiver claim order for the week. We'd have to claim Suggs then hope no one claimed Jenkins. [Reply]

Yup at best we hold him hostage from signing with Baltimore [Reply]

Most likely hes not. Then what? It's worth the pennies on the dollar to keep him from whats likely our biggest competion no? Would we even be on the hook if we claim him and he fails to report? [Reply]
