The master of officiating bailouts has creeped out from under his bridge again...
Brady's last two SB appearance have been decided by game ending penalties...
KC was heading to the SB after an INT...game over. Nope, a ticky-tack, inconsequential penalty was called at the perfect, critical moment.
Yesterday, TB's defensive back grabbed the WRs jersey and tugged him back...which provided the chance to intercept it. No call...this set up Brady's last second TD before halftime.
Fast-forward to the game deciding play...Packers CB tugs the WRs jersey..something they have been ignoring all game...magically, a flag comes out this time. Game over.
Two calls...one ignored both benefiting "terrific" Tom....
Clete Blakeman strikes again...
You KNOW Brady is going to get some kind of horseshit, bail-out call in the SB...His career is predicated on it. [Reply]
To be honest, the refereeing is really the main thing I'm worried about in this SB. Brady winning another SB would be like a 2019 Tiger Woods Masters moment for the league at his age and they'd love to make it happen.
Outside of the refereeing effect, the Chiefs are undeniably the superior team with Mahomes playing as he is. We just have to hope the refs will simply let them be (or that Mahomes will be so good it doesn't matter). [Reply]

Mahomes is the new face of the league. It's actually in their best interest to watch the baton change hands. Then they can start hyping Lamar, Allen, Herbert, and all these young guys as the next big test for Mahomes. [Reply]

You would like to think so...but Rodgers makes more sense for longevity.
I've never seen Brady, in a huge game/moment, get a call that screwed him....that trend continued yesterday.
The Superbowl is about driving international interest...and they ALL know who Brady is. [Reply]
It won’t be close enough to matter. We won’t be stopping at 27 points in this game like in the first one. As the last game showed we will just keep scoring until the kneel down possession and win by double digits. [Reply]

Let's hope.
If not, let's hope Mahomes/Reek/anyone else goes full rape mode and puts it out of reach. [Reply]
