I had my bulbous Irish nose worked on once a few years back...now I actually can breathe through both sides. On the down side I look a little pancaked in profile...I should have been more specific what I wanted to end up with. [Reply]

If I had to have the surgery every year for the rest of my life, I'd do it. It was worth it 1000x over.
Yeah, my sister, ex-wife, and my best friend's mom all had their noses "fixed" to open up their airways where they removed some tissue and reshaped the passages. They all spent months recovering being horribly uncomfortable and then got very minimal improvements. They all had different doctors. They all suffered from sinusitis and sinus infections and other breathing issues. These procedures were recommended by PCP and ENT. [Reply]

I had mine done in 1984, so I imagine there have been some advances. The worst part was the nasal drip afterward that lasted about a week, hence the gauze mustache. [Reply]
