So don't feel as bad about them. They mean nothing now, like dust in the wind.
You’re not lying. Losing the banner drop, broke the win streak to the Dungkeys. Got manhandled on Christmas Day by the Fade. The Toney penalty that lost the Bills game. What an unbelievable ending. EVERYONE had us counted out, except KC. This team is mentally and physically stronger than any other team in this league. Coming back from all that shit that happened. Then having to win 2 road playoff games, where again we were counted out. Finally Pat on the road, lmmfao… raising the Lamar Hunt trophy on the #1 seed Ravens field. That’s gotta be mind numbing ordeal for the conference. Then once again being down 10 points in the SB, and watching Pat just destroy the 9ers defense to make the comeback, force OT, and that last drive in OT was just Pat’s pure magic!
This is the best timeline to be a Chiefs fan. Just wait til the league loses its mind when we threepeat! Brady calling the SB while we achieve something he wasn’t able to. That’s coming full fucking circle! Unbelievable!!

You are mad at Kelce for not attending… checks notes… an informal/non-OTA workout? :-) [Reply]

I think I trust kelce to do whatever he needs to do to get ready for the season. [Reply]
My question isn't why Toney and Skyy are there working out, its where the hell were they last offseason? Did they think that they had "arrived" after each caught gimme TDs in the Super Bowl?
I know many of you are simply done with these two, and I get that. But both could be additions to this team if they got their heads on straight. [Reply]

Agreed. They know how to catch a football. Its just nerves getting to them. But, if they dont get past that, then they are of no use to the Chiefs. [Reply]

Didn't Toney undergo microscopic knee clean up? And Skyy was there IIRC [Reply]
Considering that Andy Reid and Matt Nagy openly explained that the Raiders Christmas Day ass-kicking got them to simplify the offense to match the players' strengths, perhaps Toney will have a better year because the Chiefs will have a better overall approach next year. [Reply]

So . . . in other words, our WRs aren't very smart, so Andy/Nagy are forced to dumb down the offense as much as possible to get them to be just barely functional.
I hope they've been candid with him in that even if they haven't given up on him, because of his own actions ( on and off the field), Chiefs nation has pretty-much given up on him. I don't think he has the ethics or the attitude to take any such counselling, but I hope they at least tried to talk to him and warn him that he's on very thin ice all the way around. Remind him of what this team did to fuck-face Peters! [Reply]

He's the greatest of all time at his position, and has a long-established mind-meld with Mahomes that needs no improvement. If anything, it's probably better that he NOT be there so Mahomes can focus on working with the other guys. Any reps to Kelce take away reps from them.
Plus, I think for Kelce personally the mental break from football is good. He was very emotionally jacked up towards the end of the season, and all through the playoffs. As long as he's keeping his workout routine he can show up whenever he's ready. [Reply]
