choose a unknown player chiefs could take that might come out of nowhere to star in rookie season...
I will offer villanova's tanoh kpassagnon...6-7 290 edge player
raw, but some compare him to aldon smith if he plays on dline, think david irving or calais campbell [Reply]
Not sure if that really would qualify... he's expected to go day 2.
Some guys that I think are pretty underrated are:
Ahmad Thomas, S Oklahoma
William Likely, CB / Returner Maryland
Fred Ross, WR Miss State
Elijah McGuire, RB ULL
Brooks Ellis, LB Arkansas
Bug Howard, WR UNC [Reply]
Pretty damn rare someone does what Tyreek did in terms of being a game-changer day 1 and coming from the doldrums.
Not really guys with character issues, but I'll pick 1 on each side of the ball just for giggles and shits and see if it sticks. Both transferred from SEC schools...

well, Hill was awesome in his brief stay at OK State, he just did something terrible so he wasn't allowed to play anymore... well, after the season was over he wasn't allowed to play anymore. [Reply]

quite aware of the story bud. I just don't see a guy at all like that this year except Mixon, and Mixon is very well known about.
Hill wasn't exactly "off the radar" either. Nobody expected the kid to be drafted because of what he did. [Reply]

Pretty much will have to make his living on special teams and as a gadget receiver. He's so small, waaaaaaaay smaller than Hill. He basically can't stay at RB. I see him boosting a ST unit in the same way as Hill, for sure. I don't know if he can make enough of a contribution elsewhere in the NFL. We'll see. He's definitely got speed, but a 5'7" 170 pound guy should have speed in spades. [Reply]

Doh! He's mine too. I am taking him in the 3rd round but I have a feeling he may go as early as the first. He reminds me of a slightly bigger version of Demarcus Ware.
I also like Damien Mama, G, USC. He looks like he has all pro potential to me. I am mocking him in the third right now but he could go higher.
I believe Quincy Wilson, CB, Florida has shut down corner potential. Most have him in the first round teens to twenties but I see him as a top give pick. [Reply]

Watching this highlight, he looks like an adult playing against middle schoolers. :-)
