Sure,

I get that, but being that it was a nursing home. How could someone with some form a medical training expose those people.

I get that they might have no known, but damn that is some negligent behavior.

I would imagine a visitor who had recently traveled from China.

It could have been a visiting family member, chaplain, hospice worker. I don't think we know who started it at the facility.

So, maybe locking down King County might not be a bad idea right about now. It's unfortunate, but we're probably going to see more of these nursing home folks pass away.

The flu has an R0 value of 1.3. The coronavirus has a R0 value between 2-3. So actually, it spreads and is transmissible almost twice as much as the regular flu.

If this gets really really bad, and people decide to flee urban areas, what are the logistics of that?

Will it be possible only up to a certain point?

The last thing I want is to get stuck in the middle of mass hysteria and gridlock on 71 highway.
I'd start by staying out of Rural areas. Ants will not be excited to be over-run by grasshoppers.

I'm not sure how he explained it - maybe I'll re-watch and pay closer attention to that part.

the guy could have had the virus for days. Had no symptoms of a cold or flu. Yet still transferred the virus. So I’d wait to see if he had symptoms. If so, no one should be working at a nursing home with cold or flu symptoms.

I wonder how many transmissions would be prevented if people just stopped shaking hands and instead did the "elbow bump."
