They've been bullied around in 3 home games now, 2 at AFH. It's unheard of in the Self era.

Yep. This is the biggest weakness. Unfortunately for KU, they don't call fouls on 3 point shooters like they do in the NBA. But our guys don't ever make the refs even think about blowing their whistle.

3rd defensively (AdjD) in the country in 2016, but 2012 and 2013 were better overall.

Drawing fouls is definitely a skill and it's amazing that KU has somehow assembled a team where not one person (other than Udoka, who can't shoot FTs) is even decent at it.

Depends what you define as elite. There are 351 teams in college bball. We are always towards the top because we have a good defensive philosophy and always have good athletes.

2018 - 13th defense
2017 - 24th defense
2016 - 3rd defense
2015 - 9th defense
2014 - 22nd defense
2013 - 5th defense
2012 - 3rd defense
2011 - 6th defense
2010 - 8th defense
2009 - 11th defense
2008 - 1st defense

So, I would imagine Top 15 is elite. So every year except last year and in 2014 we were an elite defense.
