Andy's still more prone to giving guys the day off if they can't practice in full on those last couple of days, but the AFCCG changes the calculus a bit.
Were this a regular season game he wouldn't be playing. I'd still put it at 50/50 that he goes (a pulled calf in that kind of cold could EASILY be aggravated), but you're right - it's better than him missing again. [Reply]
We totaled 1 QB Hit and ZERO FUCKING SACKS in the AFCCG last year. Jones is the only returning significant pass rusher from that game. He has to want this one. BAD. [Reply]

Yeah, the no-show from the DL in that game was more frustrating than anything else that happened in that game. I mean they did NOTHING. [Reply]
I'm curious about our pass rush from the game against the Texans. We did get to Watson a few times, but he also had a lot of time to throw on plays where our pass rush was shut down. But I wonder if part of that was the DL maintaining strict gap control for fear of Watson running. Tannehill is athletic but he's not quite Watson, so my thought is the DL will have more room to freelance on obvious passing downs. [Reply]
