I have no doubt we’ll be back to 2000 deaths a day by the end of this month. I accurately predicted the mid-summer death peak. Deaths follow by 4 weeks. Look at Johns Hopkins numbers 7-day trailing average. This spike started around September 12: 38K cases. It has tripled in 7 weeks. The deaths started climbing October 15 or so. 4 weeks. They’re still going up. Cases are still going up so deaths will be going up for 4 more weeks at least. Yes percent who die is lower but number of cases is triple. More than makes up for it. 2,000 dead per day by thanksgiving if nothing changes

Has there been any news with Moderna? I thought we were going to get some early results this month.

Nursing homes in our area were told to prepare for widespread vaccinations by early December. So that would be good news

One of the homes in ozark I believe had like 34 deaths. Terrible

One of the nurses at my hospital lost my results and I was pissed. I told her to look harder, so she came out with a shaved head and tattoo. It didn't help.

This is a tough tip-toe here but I will try. Gov. Cuomo just put NY on a very odd type of lock down. You cannot land in NY without proof of a negative test. If you leave the state and return within 24 hours you must quarantine for 3 days then get tested.

Not sure how any of that is going to be enforced if it is even legal.

Probably not as moronic as the avoidance in suggesting supplemental intake of Vitamin D, I feel like.

I'm not sure why vitamin D supplementation hasn't been more highly recommended.

Although I will say that the past couple times I've been to the doctor they've recommended it to me.

Oklahoma added 4741 cases today due to a backlog of cases that weren’t reported. They claim it’s from switching from manual to electronic tracking. We usually range from 1-2100 daily.

Our county added 86. We usually sit around 20-40. How many of those cases are cured inactive cases? Why even add all these cases if many of them aren’t even active?

Our school systems depend on accurate case reporting. Anything over 50 daily cases for a week period and they shut school down. Adding backlogged inactive cases is pretty messed up.
