The hell are we doing here guys? https://twitter.com/Ken_Rosenthal/st...88082349465603
Diffy has 2 for 30 left and Kennedy 1 for 16.5. You have to eat money on Kennedy but IMO Duffys money owed isnt that bad for his production.

David Glass is about to benefit from a new TV contract and he's being a cheap motherfucker. What's new...

Royals need to slow their roll.

@FlannyMLB: Dodgers appeared to be the frontrunner from the start. Diekman still on the Phillies’ and Nationals’ radar as well, per source. https://twitter.com/feinsand/status/1154794192721330176

@Feinsand: The Royals could be getting closer to trading Jake Diekman, according to a source. The Dodgers and Braves are believed to be two clubs showing serious interest in the lefty reliever.

I'd agree with that. Why the heck should we have to eat Duffy's contract? It's not like it's some disastrous deal we're trying to dump. No way we should do that. Kennedy is a different story.

The team is rebuilding. Why in the fuck should he spend money during a rebuild?

Why should he spend money in order to get more of a return on guys like Duffy and Kennedy? Isn't it pretty obvious?

Have you thought about how much you would need to spend and what type of return Kenmedy would bring? From a Royals perspective I highly doubt that works.

Duffy is a decent major league starter with a fair contract. There is no way, shape or form we should be eating any part of his contract. You only do that when you're trying to dump a bad contract like Kennedy. This is actually the other teams being cheap and trying to bend us over and get a decent player without paying for him. Dayton should be telling anyone who asks that to pound sand.

That replay looked really close so I figured the call would stand. Nice to see it go the Royals way though.

Load Duda up into a trebuchet aimed at an AIDS infested glass wall. Fucking sick of looking at his dumb face.

Starling with a complete and totally idiotic move and now we pay for it

That was actually a really smart move by Starling. Duda was the one who messed up. Although the first base coach should have helped him there too.

There were 2 outs, and there is a 0% chance Lucas Duda is going to run his way out of a rundown. Might as well try and race home and see if you can score before Duda gets tagged for the 3rd out. It would have scored a run.

What? He's on 3rd and there's a rundown with 2 outs with the slow-ass Duda. He's supposed to try to score.
