Now Wilson has left I'm wondering who will play In the slot? I've heard some guys say "Conley can play there" but from what I understand the guy has not really played on the inside either for the Chiefs or In college? When Wilson didn't play last season the slot position looked quite poor tbh, So I'm thinking Veach will be looking to bring one In. There are some decent prospects In the draft like Keke Coutee, Daesean Hamilton and Anthony Miller to name a few. [Reply]

Unlike the WRs listed in the OP, Dylan Cantrell, Texas Tech, has T. Hill level shuttle (4.03), cone (6.56), verticle (38 1/2), and long jump (10' 10'') numbers but he's 6'3'' and 226 lbs. Played both slot and WR at Tech. He'd add a physical beast, more so than Watkins even, to the WR corp. And he caught 58 passes for 675 yards and 8 TDs from Mahomes in 2016. Currently a 6th round prospect but is rising on draft boards. I'd take him in the 4th if he's available. [Reply]

I agree. We've got Hill and Watkins on the outside, so that leaves Conley, DRob, Kemp, Chesson, and even DAT that could line up there. We also have Braverman and Dieter under contract. Surely one of those 6 can step up to be a reliable slot. LG, FS, and DL should be our focus now. [Reply]
