Excited about an upcoming fight? Want to make predictions, or just give people a heads-up that there are some fights on? We can do it here.

(Also a good place to complain, dicuss, and agrue about the outcomes)

This may not mean much to most, but its been annoying to me (and some fighters) for a while. Starting with UFC 200, Reebok will finally offer more colors in uniform options. Higher ranked fighter gets first pick, and only the champion can wear black/gold.

This whole thing really pisses me off. I hate to see the UFC making itself less attractive to free agent fighters by limiting their earning potential. A lot of these guys made a lot more on sponsorship than they earned in the fight itself. Only the top tier guys are going to make any sponsor money if they can't advertise in the ring

To be fair, the bottom fighters are also better off. Its the fighters ranked around #5-#15 who got screwed.

Big DC fan but Jones is going to handle him again. I hate Jones but he's the best in the business.

I assume so. I guess he must have been hurting after the fight, but yesterday he tweeted or instragram'd (I forget which) something about don't worry, he's already walking around and feels fine in response to that panicky story on bloody elbow that said he might be out 6 months.

He was the best but his last fight showed a lot of rust from that time off. I think both guys are a notch below where they were for thier last fight.

They haven't announced anything, but it looks like the UFC may create a women's flyweight division. Whoever is running the UFC's web site forgot that there are many automated programs out there which frequently monitors the fighter data on their web site to instantly detect when fighters are added and dropped. One of them detected a new weight division added in the data for the web site.

Well, this kinda sucks. Paddy Holohan was forced to retire because of an extremely rare medical condition, and the UFC will not be able to medically clear him to fight. He's a young flyweight prospect in a division that badly needs talent.

He's got a bleeding disorder in which he can still form clots so he's not a typical hemophiliac, but the clots can be unstable and fail to stop bleeds, which can be a problem for internal injury. He knew he had it and never really tried to hide it from the UFC, but he didn't go out of his way to disclose it either. He was having bleeding problems after his Dublin fight, and the UFC doctors discovered his condition.

Oh no

They're really watering down the product.

I don't see how. There would now be 11 divisions, but its not like the fighters and fights scheduled are evenly split between those 11 divisions. Lightweight and Welterweight has by far the most fighters and the most scheduled fights, because thats the weight class that fits most healthy male athletes. You can go entire cards without seeing a single female fighter.

The gap between 115 and 135 is just too large, they needed to do it. Maybe they'll bring in a few fighters, but I expect you'll just see women moving up from strawweight or down from bantamweight.

The number of UFC fighters
Light 108
Welter 103
Feather 68
Middle 63
Bantam 60
Heavy 44
Light Heavy 38
Fly 32
