The Harper and Bryant bromance is too strong to break up. Kidding not kidding.
They'd just end up stuffing Judge or Stanton at first. [Reply]
I was listening to national sports radio this morning. It's amazing how clueless those bafoons are. I swear people think the Yankees and Dodgers have won every World Series championship. MLB has had more parity than the NFL and NBA who they have been worshiping because of the salary cap. Since 2010, 40% of MLB has made the World Series. 37.5% of the NFL has made the Super Bowl, 26% of the NBA has made the NBA Finals. [Reply]

It's extremely unlikely that they get Machado, but he is a significantly better ballplayer
I agree its highly unlikely but with new contract not so far fetched. $2 BILLION/15 years Cable money = ability to pay Mercado $300 million. It's only 20% of the total contract over 66% of the length of the deal. [Reply]

Don't forget the 30% equity stake in FSMW. More eyes means more money as well.

They'll make a run at him, IMO
they were already making a healthy profit. They can keep their 30% stake in Fox Midwest as additional profit. But, that $2 billion needs to go into salaries. [Reply]
