Welcome back Joe exotic! Chiefs won the superbowl :-) Mahomes is a hall of famer! When will the Broncos next get a win against the Chiefs? 2022?

Denver wasn't exactly a hard team to defend once Sanders was traded. Tim Patrick and DaeSean Hamilton were our #2 and #3 receivers for crying out loud.

In 2020 Denver's offense will have added:
A $15,000,000, premium RT
A shiny new $11,000,000 guard
The glue of the national champion Tigers locker room at C
The best route runner to come out of college since Jerry Rice
The next Desean Jackson
Melvin Gordon
Pat Shurmur
And our two TE sets of Noah Fant and Albert O could be devastating.

You seriously think he looks like a Top 5 QB after only five games or so? Oh man. Take the glasses off. What you don’t get is with the new CBA the cap will go way up. This means the Chiefs sign Mahomes long term with less long term impact on the cap. Plus he want to win and has already stated he will take slightly less. What will be priceless is when Lock ends up like Dak (as I mentioned earlier) and the Broncos are forced to pay him more than he is worth while not getting much to show for it.

Tell us more how we wasted picks drafting Mahomes...even though he's matched Elway in All Pro, league MVP, and SB MVP's in three seasons. (16 seasons for Elway)
Ask him about Paxton Lynch or Brock Osweiler, lol

And your defense still has to face the best player in football who actually added another weapon. Your offense in theory will be good ours has been elite two years in a row and actually stands to be better this year.

It's not unheard of for a QB to make a big jump in their second year. Just look at Mahomes and Carson Wentz. People forget that Lock couldn't practice at all from week 2 of the preseason until the middle of November. To look as good as he did, with the depleted talent around him and with so little practice time is amazing.

Next 3 years?

We haven’t paid Mahomes yet, and Lock is going into year 2.

You have to pay Lock in 2 years IF he’s even worth it. How’s that any different dumbass?

But how will they compete with a team that had the current Patrick mahomes
The current Tyreek Hill
The current Sammy Watkins
The current desean jackson in Mecole Hardman
The current best tightend in football in Travis Kelce
A top 5 offensive tackle group
And the best athlete and player on the national championship and LSU team according to their starting qb in Clyde Edwards-Helaire??
Thats a currently DEVASTATING combination and the current reigning and defending super bowl champs :-)

I've read that the Chiefs want to get a deal done with him this year.

If Lock deserves to be paid three years from now, then yeah, the Chiefs will have an edge again. Hopefully by then Lock will have closed the gap a little bit with Mahomes so the edge won't be too lopsided. Having Fangio there to help slow Mahomes down should help him, even if he can't catch up to Mahomes.

But how’s that going to affect us and our cap THIS year like you’re implying dumbass?

Did you somehow get more stupid while you were away? Our team is already put together and set.

It’s also not unheard of for a player to have a sophomore slump. Just look at Mayfield. Teams will have an offseason to study Lock. He’s not Mahomes nor should he ever be in any conversation with him outside of the fact they are both starting QBs in the AFC West.

Also is there any player on Denver that they draft/sign that you don’t believe will be a first ballot HOF and all century team?

I like this more. Lock will be good but nowhere near Mahomes. The same logic applies with Fangio and Andy. And so will the Broncos compared to the Chiefs.

Broncos being good will make the games more fun, mostly bc they think they have a chance and won’t be good enough every year.

Knowmo knows deep down that as long as Andy and Pat are in KC, this is our division.
