Almost certainly. They could've DL'd Dozier, called up Cuthbert and kept Owings' warm-body versatility. Maybe Dozier will miss fewer than 10 days, but they clearly didn't want to have to play Owings during even that short stretch.

Unless they're getting ready to platoon at 1B.

Maybe Dozier is going to play some 1st...

Now it's time to dump Gore.

I would make Cuthbert play 1B. Dozier seems to play a better 3B to me.

Agreed.

It's time to dump Gore if he's only stealing bases at a 50% clip. That's not good enough.

And he doesn't add anything else of value to the team. Not sure who they would want to call up in his place, though.

Awful defensive awareness by the Rangers CF'er.

it was implied earlier, but if anyone here (who might work in the royals clubhouse) could drop some porn mags in kennedy's locker, and make sure DM sees it, that'd be great.

p.s. welcome back, cutty!!

And Duffy is losing it here. How bad does it get before the bleeding stops.

A little late with the pitching change, Ned.

I like Duffy, but he’s such a mental midget.

A veteran pitcher knows there when you have a few rough things that don’t go your way, you gotta bear down and battle.

Duffy just flakes and gives up. Disheartening to see from the guy that should be the leader of your staff.

I agree, but I'm uncertain as to whether they will do the DFA routine with Cuthbert again. That would mean that unless they are planning to DFA Duda, O'Hearn is the one guy that can be sent down that would make sense. Of course, I'd rather they just DFA Duda and Gore both...keep Cuthbert up and recall Boni or maybe Phillips (a better option than Gore IMO as a 4th OF).

You got all of that because he struggled at the very end of the game while being left in too long?
