Gifted player for sure, hands made for guitar. His set at Woodstock was really original and you can hear that influence all over the place.

I was fortunate to see both Johnny and Stevie Ray Vaughan play in Memphis during the early to mid 80's (Johnny 3 times, SRV twice).

That is so cool. I never had the chance to see either on of these guys. I did get to see Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Jonny Lang, Zakk Wylde and several hot rod guitarists at a Jimi Hendrix experience concert in Tulsa several years ago.
