I think Chris is going to get fucked this year. If he doesn't report to camp he has to come back next year and play another year at $1.6 million or something gross. Essentially, it makes his 2019 contract year not count.
I can't even find a link for this anywhere, googled a bit, but I heard it on the radio last night.
He'll be at camp, probably get tagged next year, and may not ever get a huge payday due to nagging injuries.
I think he may be a Dontari Poe type, and the Chiefs sniffed it out early this time. [Reply]

You know the NFL will do something. They always seem to find a way to fuck us over. At least 2 games, probably 4. The only chance we have is that the NFL wants to keep the Mahomes' story going strong. [Reply]
I feel like it will be 4, or even 8 (ugh), or zero.
2 just doesn't seem likely to me. The league got a TON of shit for originally giving Ray Rice 2 games. It's like if you think he's guilty of any kind of domestic violence or whatever - 2 games just isn't going to look good to the public.
OTOH - if the league comes out with zero, they're basically saying we could find no evidence of any wrong doing - which is a legitimate stance. [Reply]
