Fury put on an entertaining fight, but I can't help lamenting that it wasn't all about me, and the proper level of celebration Mr. Fury should have for my romantic inclinations. [Reply]
Anybody going to watch the PPV? Would like to find a bar or place in KC that is going to show it instead of shelling out $75.
Going to be entertaining. Two offensive fighters. The anti-Mayweather.
Wilder is at the very minimum the #2 ranked Heavyweight fighter in the world but he is the WBC Champion for the last 5 years. Luis Ortiz is arguably Top 7 or 8 in the world.
Once Wilder likely wins this one - it will set up the epic superfight Wilder vs Fury II in Feb 2020. [Reply]
I'll be watching at a friend's house. The first fight was really good and really tested Wilder. Hopefully Wilder makes this one a bit easier on the way to the Fury fight next year. [Reply]
I'm hoping I can watch this one. Been years since I wanted to see a heavyweight fight as much as this one. Should be a very entertaining fight. [Reply]

The heavyweight division is so lit right now. Deontay Wilder might be the most exciting heavyweight boxer of all time. He hits HARD. He throws punches OFTEN. He knocks people out every single time. All of his fights are knockouts except for the tie with Fury...who he knocked down twice all while Wilder didn't get knocked down once.
My only knock against boxing is that they don't value being knocked down enough. In many boxing circles, people think Fury "should have won" against Wilder yet he knocked Wilder down zero times is just baffling to me. If you don't reward the offensive boxing skillset, what you get is Floyd Mayweather. Who is horrible horrible to watch. [Reply]
There hasn't been a real heavyweight since Mike Tyson. Wilder is a clown. Fury is a joke. Klitchko was a decade long bum. Real fights dont actually need to be hyped. Sadly, the only time something interesting happens in this dead boxing division is when a bum topples someone overrated (Ruiz > Joshua). With that said, I hope Ortiz snaps Wilder's face. [Reply]
