I agree it is a bit predictable as well. This happens to all the young main jedi heroes in the films/cartoons, but I think they do this to show the audience just how alluring and addicting the call for more power is. The emotions displayed on screen are probably a bit too shallow compared to a novel, but I believe that is their intention each time they recycle this theme. With that being said, I do look forward to Ezra's eventual downfall (I hope). [Reply]
