David Beaty must have been one terrible football coach for this KU team to be playing like this with Miles. They could easily have an above .500 record right now. Also, how was Carter Stanley not playing more the past few years under that staff? [Reply]

Stanley looks far better this year than before.
And yes, of course Beaty was a terrible coach. He had no idea what he was doing.
If a few bounces go the other way, KU could be sitting at 5-2. They have looked like a typical post-Mangino team a few times (TCU, Coastal Carolina), but that'll happen now and then when you're just not that talented.
The BC and Texas games are way better than anything we've seen since Mangino. [Reply]
Can't wait to see who Les Miles can recruit! I don't think it's too crazy to think a national champion could start attracting some top talent..... [Reply]
Coastal, WVU, and Texas all could (should) have been wins. Regardless of their final record, this team wasn’t far from Bowl eligibility as crazy as that may seem.
I would guess they win at least one more game this year. [Reply]

Agreed for sure. Not really sure how Les got word of Dearmon before any other D1 program.. but there is A LOT of excitement around him. Hell, if Les had a guy like that at LSU, a school with unlimited resources to hire as many “Senior Offensive Consultants” as they want, he’d still be there. [Reply]
Devonta "Whop" Jason" the four star receiver that committed and then de-committed from us 2 years ago has entered the transfer portal....would think we have to be the favorites to land him. [Reply]
