In all honesty, I think Peters will do his best to go to the Raiders. Only chance that he doesn't try to play for the Raiders is if he really hates the Las Vegas move. The FO will either have to pay him the biggest CB contract in history to keep him, or franchise tag him next year. I also don't think his head is fully in the game right now (seems a bit too interested in social justice bullcrap ala Kaepernick).

Peters will be under Chiefs control until the end of the 2019 season and if they decided to Franchise him, it won’t be until 2020, when he’s 27 years old.

That’s a long time from now. He may fallen off a cliff or suffered an injury.

I completely forgot about the 5th year option... That frees up an awful lot of money really. Don't have to worry about an extension this season. Wait until after next season to talk contract extension.
