I picked up this old Wagner cast iron #8 griddle at a garage sale a while back for $3(LOL). With this and a grill press, I've made some tasty thin burgers. My daughter likes them like that.

Yes it is, but it's a very effective gas stove and I wouldn't replace it unless it failed.
