This information is reported, and can be searched by anyone.

The major outlier would be subspecialists getting compensated for giving talks about a drug to a group of physicians at a conference.
Ya drug luncheon, seminars yes but doesn’t really sway doctors too much all reps do it. They have cracked down a lot on , free golf , hookers stuff like that

This is not at all happening on any routine (non-illicit) basis nowadays. Some docs receive compensation for their time and input (and sometimes necessary travel) related to pharmaceutical drug development, but that's an absolute necessity (won't get too far into this here) and their time is worth money. But the "pay for play" style kickbacks don't really happen in any routine practice.

They used to take the lot of 'em to Vail or Acupulco, have activities all day and a five-star dinner at night, with about thirty minutes of talks/slides somewhere in there.. That was mostly in the 90s though. Hasn't been that way for some time now and the Sunshine Act REALLY put the clamps down.

I hate checking this thread to see people fucking arguing instead of posting news, and it’s normally the same people arguing
Yeah, I don't get all of the opinion spamming, especially since we'll never know if this was all an overreaction... we'll only know if we didn't do enough.

Hard to find a rental car here. Tons of people flying in. Departures level at PHX is show, arrival level is real busy.

Inbound highway traffic from LA and SD far outpaces outbound, but not gridlocked.

That's a lot of potential carriers being introduce into this, currently low risk, space.

I miss the free golf and when spouses were invited to talks we would just eat and get hammered while they learn

It’s absolutely growing exponentially and will continue to do so during the first 2-3 weeks, how fast is the only thing that remains to be seen.
