Nzoner's Game Room>So it’s really just the Steelers [or Bills] right?
RunKC 09:41 PM 09-28-2020
I mean goddamn this conference seems wrapped up doesn’t it? Not trying to jinx us but it really seems like injuries are our biggest opponent at this point.

The Ravens are fucking frauds. They’re a warm up for us. We literally made these guys look like the JV squad the last 2 meetings.

And sure the Bills and Titans may make us work for the win, but in all honesty we have to play pretty goddamn shitty to lose to those guys.

In order to have any shot at beating us you need 3 things:

1. Elite pass rush
2. Top 10 QB capable of making critical plays
3. Overall talented roster

Steelers are the only team in the AFC that has those 3 things, and even them it’s not like they’re some serious threat like the Patriots a couple years back, but they seem like the best of the rest.

I think at this point it would be disappointing for this team to not get to the SB 3 straight times.

We’re just that good, and we keep drafting well and get better and better.

Thank your lucky stars that you were blessed with the greatness of Mahomes or you would be just another mediocre franchise.
Good Lord, you're just as dumb as that Titans troll.

- The Chiefs didn't luck out, they traded up 17 spots because they knew Mahomes was special.

- Way below average teams (or even just average, for that matter) don't go to the playoffs every year (except 2014) under Andy Reid.

- Chiefs defense is currently 10th in yards allowed, 3rd in points allowed, and 1st in TOs. Again, another idiotic take.

- Reid had been to a SB and 4 conference championships before Mahomes. Anyone who knows anything about the NFL knows that you need a great coach and a great QB to win the big game.

Dude, your troll game is weak.

Titans should have beat pitt, it should have been the championship caliber comeback we all expected. Only a championship caliber team makes that a game (too bad gostkowski sucks)
The bengals game was a trap game with the tits coming off that emotional comeback

The chefs lucked out last year with the Titans doing all the dirty work in the playoffs, chefs got to play the texans (perennial losers) and a tired titans team who were playing 4 straight road games
Lucked out? Chiefs beat Baltimore in the regular season last year and this year. What makes you think that they wouldn't have done the same if they had met in the playoffs? Same with New England. Chiefs didn't luck into anything. They earned their way.

Especially when the Steelers have been winning every one score game they've been in. That isn't particularly sustainable. One game they're gonna have some bounces not go their way. Hell, the Ravens turned the ball over numerous times and STILL almost won.
Just for the sake of accuracy, that 2011 Chiefs team finished 7-9. They were 5-8 at the time they faced the undefeated Packers.

Paid a combined 24.5 million for Clowney and Beasley. So far there's 0 sacks between them.

Wow, that's not a good ROI. :-)

Not sure what they thought they were going to get with Clowney. He's never really been a big sack guy. Good penetrator and run stopper but that's his niche.

I saw some numbers showing Clowney has been what he's always been, an elite run defender and overall a pretty good disruptor (high amount of pressure), but he just can't seal the deal with sack numbers.

Vic Beasley is a huge piece of shit, though.

I think I read that the Titans just traded for Desmond King so maybe that will help give the pass rush more time to get home.

They did. They got King for a 6th rounder.

Clowney is the ultimate cock tease.

When he actually locks in and plays, he's a top 5 defender type talent. He just rarely does it.

So pass.

It will help. Since adoree jacksons been out thus far, every quarterback just throws to whoever Jonathan freaking joseph is covering.
The addition of king plus adorree coming back will allow the tits to turn the defense around like the chefs did last year. So many similarities with the tits and last years chefs.

So what happened against the Bengals then?

And yes, clowney and beasley are a waste of space.

Vrabel will get the defense performing like the chefs did last season.

The Titans will settle in at 10 wins and be a decent 3/4 seed.
