Middle daughter had it and tested positive right away. I had the same symptoms the week before and never tested positive. Wife had the same thing a couple of days after my daughter tested positive....but my wife never tested positive. Two other kids never got anything.

Everyone is pretty much back to normal now. No adverse side effects. Just headaches, body aches, fevers and a runny nose.

in other words - the family shared a virus, just like it has always worked

I had a CT scan done last week and was a bit surprised to see no masks inside the radiology diagnostic center. Still required at my doctors office though.

My wife attended a week long job training a few weeks ago and her and half the training class from all over the country got it. I didn't isolate from her, just lived life like normal and I never developed any symptoms but I also never tested myself either.

Me too , they are keeping it for LTC facilities though also removed from public transit as well , I could see it coming back for outbreaks though.

Just got a memo saying that they were going to keep the mask mandates at our Hospital for at least another week , oh well.

Yeah, it just makes sense to me, covid aside....at a place where knowingly sick people congregate with immunocompromised people

If you test positive do you have to stay in your room?
Yeah I thought the same thing when I booked a cruise for the end of May. Not so much as it turned out.

Yeah they will isolate you either in your cabin or in an isolation ward.

I thought I might have Covid yesterday because I had a bad headache and body aches, but it turns out I was just hung over as shit.

There's not one. It's called "this medicine is new, we don't know, so we are covering our asses"

I like how medical warnings on ads now tell you not to take the medicine if you were allergic to the medicine.

"Do not take blortodipital if you are allergic to blortodipital."

Is that warning really valid for the first dose?

About time. Excited to not have to deal with this for my summer vacation to Europe.

BREAKING: The Biden administration is lifting its requirement that international air travelers to the U.S. take a COVID-19 test within a day before boarding their flights, a senior administration official says. The mandate will expire on Sunday. https://t.co/xi5LTyIaSM
