I think you're saying something that he isn't. He's asking what other highly ranked teams KU has had to go through during the streak because his experience with UK fans has them saying the Big 12 conference has always been weak where as the SEC has been tough.

Which is the exact opposite of reality. The Big 12 is year in/year out one of the top 3 conferences in the country - which KU has now won 13 straight years. The SEC is consistently a weak conference and the best UK has done is 4 years.

The streak is impressive. It's likely to never happen again in a major conference. I've never been sure why you are one of the few people that this streak has never impressed (or maybe I'm thinking of someone else).

Stating league ranks for KenPom's conference rankings doesn't answer any of my questions. After stating that I wonder about Big 12 schools being #1 during the streak, and wondering how many weeks Big 12 teams were ranked in the Top 10 during the streak, I list schools from my memory being ranked, top 10, etc.

Maybe there was another point, that I am missing, to you quoting the original article. I am tired so it's entirely possible that you are making a clever statement, and it's over my head.

Oh. Nah, man. I was just giving you ammo for the unwashed ass that is the Kentucky fanbase.

I see now that you want more specifics. You can totally disregard my post. :-)

13 straight conference titles would be impressive for any team even if they played in the Butthole Conference.

Say what you want about the Big 12, but it ain't the Butthole Conference. Even if you want to call the ACC and the Big 10 better basketball conferences, it's still a top 3 conference in the time that KU has been winning these titles.

While it would have been nice to have more national championships, at least they got ONE. One alone is hard enough. If they didn't have that, sure, then they'd really be chokers.

This is history. This isn't Alex Smith feel-good regular season wins we're celebrating. This is something Wooden never accomplished.

Wooden had nine. But he dominated in those nine. Still, nice going BS! Next is 14! :-)

It's also hard to compare eras. Wooden coached in a time where there was less parity. There also was not the 64 teams in the NCAA tournament. There was only something like 25 teams in the 1971 tournament.

That was a pretty sweet job defending the alley oop there.

Bragg sucks....he just looks lost on the court. He's having an ok night stat wise. Wish he had more to his game.

Vick needs to practice the 3 shot.
