Well, I was clear on my QB thoughts... I would not have been happy with any QB at 5. I wanted them to trade out. I wouldn't have liked seeing G at that spot either. I never considered Chubb, few mocks had him at 5.

I would have liked Minkah there... but, my hope was a trade down. I don't view Chubb as a luxury, I think he can contribute Day 1 and with the way injuries happen and how critical the front 7 is, I was fine with the pick. Again, would rather have seen them trade down and pick up 2-3 extra picks.

Dorsey screwed us last night. Broncos now have a Chubb y Miller. Yikes.

Luckily, Pat isn’t Alex and won’t go into the fetal position when pass rushers are bearing down on him.

Denver’s pass rush should be better, but at what expense? Trade down would have been ideal, as MHM mentioned, but maybe there were no takers? (although that would conflict with draft reports).

I’m just glad they didn’t end up with Barkley. He could have made that offense legit.

In an article today, it was mentioned that Denver backed out of the deal with buffalo once Chubb was available. Details unknown, maybe it wasn’t stellar.

And I don't blame you there. NONE of those QB's were worth a damn, and Baker Mayfield is a DOUCHE (Would have LOVED for Denver to have drafted him) :-)

I get the trade down move, and would have been all in for doing that, but had I been running Denver's draft, and watching it unfold as it did, I'd have drafted Chubb also. He was the one guy left that I would not have risked losing by acquiring more picks. I think he was a very good pick. I think Wade Phillips turns him into a beast. Joseph & Co., not so sure, but the potential is there. Have to wait and see how it works out.

I think it's cool how the division is shaping up. Going to be strength on strength. Offense Heavy teams (KC & Oak) vs Defensive Heavy Teams (SD & Den). Whoever's weakness is the least will win it. This year I see KC as "slipping for the better" and reloading with a young gun-slinger for a QB. If he is all THAT- and I think that he is - then next year, after adding more defense, I think KC is primed for a dominant run - we shall see.

Pretty much... the defensive scheme isn't the same, but they're still good. We'll see what Cravens can bring and with Chubb, again - never a bad thing to have a guy like that in the mix.

Elway will be fired before he ever finds a legitimate quarterback.

I would like to see Denver make a move for Will Hernandez.

That's not true...had they drafted Rosen, I would have been pissed.

Chubb seems to help your team the least...It would be like KC drafting a WR in the 1st.
