AFAIC, they've already exceeded expectations.
There was a stretch where I didn't even think they'd make the playoffs. Then they deal Shattenkirk and get peanuts back. They barely had a pulse. Sure, they wen't on a huge run at the end of the year, but at the expense of the dregs of the league.
Surely didn't expect to knock off a team that was 20 points ahead of them at one point, and to do so in 5 games, winning all three road games.
minnesota had something like this series coming, theyve been terrible for two months. they completely outplayed the blues in basically every game (not game 3) but they were bound to have some bad luck like this. running into a red hot goalie doesnt help.
nash/sto should be a great matchup. i got preds in 5 or 6 though. they seem like a team of destiny. elite first line and top-4 defense. very good experienced coach. [Reply]
