Sam Cosmi - ChiefsPlanet

I think this guy could be our first round target after the Thuney move today. I feel like he's a poor man's Eric Fisher, but could be a steady LT for us for ten years. He also has experience at RT.

He didn't develop as folks thought he would at Texas, but his pro-day was off the charts and he is excellent in pass-pro.

After his pro day, he's going before #31. We'd have to trade up most likely.

I would imagine the top 12 or so tackles in the draft are "on their radar".

They scout hundreds of players every year.

As if that’s not impressive enough, he also benched 225 36 times.

Moving up to get him would be frowned on by nobody.

He's likely moved to the top of the "2nd group" which means it's likely he's looking at around pick #20 or so. I don't think Cosmi drops to 31 after his pro-day. That being said, Boss is right. Trading up 8-10 spots for Cosmi would likely be acceptable to just about everybody.

Right, so pick 20.

That's about as far as we can reasonably go too because the next milestone is 13-14. Minnesota might take a DE but still has a potential need at tackle and the Chargers almost have to take a tackle at 13.
