Anyone found any amazing deals yet? A lot of ads finally started coming out.
I'm looking for a good 65 inch 4k smart TV, maybe a nintendo switch. Always up for hunting and fishing stuff as well. Bought a bunch of video games last year during it.
I want a 75" and am looking at the q7 (models go from q6-q9), but $2700 is a lot for a TV, more than 3 times what I've ever paid for a TV. The equivalent q6 is $2,000, but it has fewer features than the q7-q9.

I ended up deciding on the LG because of the reflection tests they do and the photos they post of the results (along with the actual % of light reflected); I have a 3 month period during football season where the mid-day sun comes right through my back windows and into my set so being able to kill that glare was huge.
They'll give you all kinds of technical data and also distill it down into a pretty digestable format. You can put any 2 televisions head to head and focus on exactly what you're looking for from usage all the way down to light output and local dimming issues.
Really the best research site for televisions out there by quite a bit.

I own an early set of these and have for 30 years. Had them refoamed twice but thats not bad for the environment they live in.
My JBL PRO Control ONE speakers without amps weigh considerably more than the JBL 306P MKII at 13lb/pr. speakers with amps.
You can still buy JBL Pro gear including Control Ones now called 1's but when Harmon bought JBL all the good stuff went south for China made components and lightweight drivers. With Harmon WHORING the good JBL name and referring to their products as "reference" and "professional" is why when in financial trouble Samsung snapped them up for chump change. Yeah, Korenan JBL !!!!
I would still recommend the JBL Pro Control 1's if you can't afford a set of Totum Mites but those JBL speakers blow even when they go for a Black Friday deal that's not really a deal. [Reply]

I'm not real fond of the Roku UI either but Fire TV is the worst. My mother-in-law's Fire Stick would randomly disable Netflix all the time. Most annoying piece of tech I've ever bought. Not completely useless, not real useful. [Reply]
