Nzoner's Game Room>Your yearly "Get DirecTV to discount NFL Sunday Ticket" thread
The Franchise 02:47 PM 07-24-2015
Just called in and got it for free again....plus a $10 bill credit for 12 months and a $5 bill credit for 6 months.

Didn't even have to haggle with the guy.

Anybody else tried yet?

They offer $90 off a month for 12 months (I was paying $135/month before) to get me to come back. I asked if they were offering deals on Sunday Ticket and if they throw that in, I'll come back. They agreed and I ended up getting both $90/month discount and free Sunday Ticket Max. Works every year, I haven't ever paid for Sunday Ticket.
:-) Well played

What is this shit...

25 Mbps - DSL-2
25 Mbps down / 3 Mbps up
$54.95/month

Thats just ATT without a monthly bandwidth cap.

Got I hate that Cox is the only game in town if you want faster than 25Mbps.

Some of you are spoiled. I'm at 5Mbps down and .6 up because that's my only real option at this point.

That sounds extremely frustrating.

I don't know how anyone has 50 up, I have like 15 up and that's pretty good for around here.

We used to be that slow. I called the local internet company when I found out they were running fiber to some rural locations.

Since I run a business from my farm, they ran 2 1/2 miles of fiber from a substation to just my house. Monthly bill went DOWN.

It had to be tied to a government program. There’s no way they do that for one family and expect to make money.

I was looking at the fiber. It says I can get 60 up and 60 down for $45/month.
Currently, I get 30 and 3 with Cox for $66/month.

I did look around at the reviews and I'm not very impressed. Not sure I want to take that chance.

Cut ties with DTV after 15 years.

They can suck it.

I’m in fiber now. Have 100/100 for $55 a month and can get 1000/1000 for $85.

5 years ago eh. Don't ever get direct TV again. There is a correlation here.

Was it back when Obama gave all that ARRA stimulus money? We did a 40 mile fiber run to establish a redundant path, but had to peel off runs for schools and a clinic to qualify for the grant.

I was concerned at first, but it's enough that Netflix and Prime never buffer in almost a year, so I'm fine with it.
