Nzoner's Game Room>2019 Free agency Thread
O.city 03:24 PM 02-05-2019
We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.

If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

I wouldn't turn that deal down that quickly.

You could do it, draft say, Fant or Smith at 29 and have Ramsey?

I probably wouldn't do it, but damn.

Maybe
If Hock's gone (likely) and Fant's there....eh....that may not be all that ridiculous to consider.

You free up a little money (about 1/2 of what it would take to extend Ramsey) and get a guy in Fant that can do everything Kelce can, though probably not as well. He's the exact same kind of player.

If Hocks there I take him and play them both together. But Fant's not as good a complement to Kelce while simultaneously being potentially more dangerous than Hock.

It's interesting but only after you add an 'if' in there...

The worst thing we could do this offseason is fuck up our offensive chemistry. Would be an epic miscalculation, especially after the Kareem Hunt situation.

Yeah maybe but Jacksonville wouldn’t even consider it. 29 year old player at TE or a 25 year old CB.

Plus you know they love Kelce in that locker room and building. That move would rock the boat a lot.

Helluva risk to take when you have two insurance agents named David Wells and Deon Yelder as Next Men Up.

The TE position is already a concern as-is.

Thing is I just know how good Kelce is. But you could potentially have a younger Kelce and the best corner in football?

Yeah I mean i'd think hard about it.

Yelled is gonna shine! There is a reason why he was on the roster all year
