Yeah, that's what I said. Apparently you don't read very well, though. I said you didn't read it. Not you couldn't read it.

Isn't this the UK people that said millions of people were going to die in the streets or something?

How long would that process take best case scenarios? How is that question so hard for you to comprehend?

I am thankful you aren’t having one on one consultations, though, that definitely worried me thinking of the poor old ladies you berated for not subscribing to the same medical magazines as you.
How am I supposed to know how long an RCT for a vaccine is going to take in this environment? I'm not going to postulate on things I have no clue about--that's irresponsible.

The data from a Phase III RCT will take however long it takes. I'm not designing the studies. I have no fucking clue and no community pharmacist that you talk to does either.

Got some clarification:

“It was a cheek, gum, roof of mouth swab. They also have you cough deeply several times right before you swab.”

The nasal pharyngeal swab is considered the better test, heard some places would do both throat and nose but what you describe would seem less effective, not saying it can’t be . Maybe things have changed but our hospital is still doing nasal. Maybe they found most patients could not tolerate it well enough to be effective decided to go to that method.

You could just say in the world. That said we're all a lot more educated on viruses now than we were four months ago.

I bet over half the country four months ago didn't know the difference between viral and bacterial.
