Tremon has tremendous value as the #1 kickoff returner, a gunner on special teams, a decent RB with elite speed who can run gadget plays and in a desperate situation can play corner if needed.
I’m wondering how good he looked as the Lamar Jackson stand-in that they were like, “ fuck it, let’s switch him” as if it’s freshman year of college. At least with McKenzie’s move to Offense that was the plan all along.
He must have really showed out getting to the edge and wiggling in space. It’s one thing to do it on returns where it’s an open field free for all; it’s another to do it with a congested group of dudes on the LOS right in front of you. [Reply]

I'm optimistic. He was an all state QB and WR suddenly I'm fascinated to watch it.
I think the high school QB thing is overrated. MOST of these dudes were the QB in high school, because typically a HS team puts their best athlete at the most valuable position.
Having said that, we have watched this team cut third round picks in training camp. If they're moving him to the offense, then he clearly has attributes they are desperate to take advantage of. I highly doubt it will work, or that he'll make the team, but if anyone can do it, it's Reid.
Hill’s deal is nearly done, it’s just language that is being worked on. The Jones deal is not far off, but there’s still a gap that both parties are working to close. The word on the street is that the goal is to have both deals done by 8/9. #ChiefsKingdom
is it just me or does it seem like tremon smith doesnt have 4.3 speed with pads on and the ball in his hands? i seem to remember him getting run down a few times when i thought he was almost wide open. [Reply]

We haven't ever really seen him run in the open field though, so it's hard to say.
They are going out of their way to try to get him on the roster, those bottom of the roster dudes should watch out. [Reply]
