Nzoner's Game Room>Tyreek Hill injury updates.
Hammock Parties 12:52 PM 09-08-2019
Someone just told me Tyreek Hill could be out 6-8 weeks.

This is the same source that told me he would receive 0 games 20 minutes before the national media broke it.

Take it for what it's worth.

EDIT: IT WAS WORTH NOTHING

Here is an explanation from the #Chiefs on WR Tyreek Hill, who was taken to a local hospital. pic.twitter.com/gxcl2nqFu0

Per source, no surgery for Tyreek Hill but he will miss a couple of weeks.

Confirmed, per source, Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill had a posterior SC (sternoclavicular) dislocation which was successfully reduced in the hospital. No surgery required. He will stay overnight.

Watkins told Breer that they have to find a way to win without him for “6, 7 weeks”.

I’m officially assuming 6 as a pretty safe number.

There have been a handful of guys suffer a similar type of injury and it looks like 4-6 weeks is pretty common.

So a return somewhere between the Texans and Packers games. The Broncos would be the safest bet but a short week there complicates things. Then again, the short week also means a nice long recover time before the Packers game.

So I'll go ahead and say he comes back on 10/17 vs. the Broncos.

Back with plenty of time to get going again before the Pats game. Fuck the Pats for looking unstoppable last night.

I don't know that Sammy would really know how long at that point so I'm not gonna use that as much of a barometer there.

I still think it's 3 weeks, tops.

As long as he is back for the Super Bowl.

The scary part of that game was that Brady's arm looked good.

I really figured we'd start to see him decline physically but he was incredibly sharp on those 15 yard and under throws; could keep the point down and drive the ball into windows.

If Brady's going to be as good as his reputation this season (he wasn't last year), then the Pats will be a damn tough out.

Found the good steroids this offseason.

I’m just rolling under the assumption that it’ll be about a month. Gotta be able to survive that given the schedule. Andy will cook stuff up to get Hardman going downfield. Have to continue with Watkins and Kelce being dynamic threats.

As long as Tyreek is there for the back half of the year, especially any NE game, we good.
Maybe AB will tape a call with the Pat's front office, post it, call BB a poorly dressed asshole, and fall to us?

But honestly, this sucks...

NE looked good last night but the Steelers look like they're going to be horrible. That looked like a freaking preseason game from them. Slow, bumbling receivers. No run blocking up front. Weird play calls on 3rd and goal from the 1 (a fade pattern? Seriously?) Roethlisberger looked awful, inaccurate, and slower than usual.

I think they're going to be a train wreck this year.

ETA: Since 2013, the fade pattern is the most-used play inside the 5 yard line. Yet, it yields a paltry 33% completion rate. Why in the hell do teams continue to run it?

I don’t see any reason they can’t win their next 4-6 without him. Denver will be a bitch on a short week there though.

If he doesn’t go on IR today or tomorrow, he’s probably coming back within a month.

I'm not buying into Baltimore just yet personally. Miami is a dumpster fire.
