I wouldn't eat it often, but I'd likely enjoy it when I did.
It's indulgent, but it looks like a light fluffy donut like a Krispy Kreme.
So you get the herbs and spice and crunch in the middle, with light sweet and a little chewy on the outside.
I think I'd like it better than chicken and waffles. Waffles can tend dry and crunchy unless you douse them in syrup. Better to have an airy donut with a little glaze. [Reply]
when I was in high school there were several classmates that worked at the local KFC, they always bragged about peeing in the fryer. Never would eat there. [Reply]

Jesus....and here I was thinking their chicken couldn't get any worse. [Reply]
This doesn't seem all that gross to me other than its KFC who have gone way down hill. Chicken and sweet bbq sauce or even honey has been a thing for awhile. I like a chicken and biscuit with honey. I could see a donut place pulling this off as a breakfast thing but not KFC.

The worst part about a glazed donut is touching a glazed donut, that's why most people try and handle them with just 2 fingers. So it makes perfect sense to utilize them as the exterior of a handheld sandwich. [Reply]
