Washington DC and The Holy Land>Time to investigate the investigators...
Taco John 09:37 PM 04-20-2019
The Mueller report put another $1 million in President Trump’s campaign coffers.

“The release of the full Mueller report directly led to the campaign raising more than $1 million,” Trump campaign COO Michael Glassner told The Post.

“Relative to our recent daily average, the Mueller news drove a 250 percent increase in fundraising from grassroots donors.”

The campaign crossed the goal line midday Friday with $1,000,428 in Mueller-related donations.

One way the campaign cashed in on the report was through a video hitting critical Democrats.

“Now it’s time to investigate the investigators,” it said.

Here's the referenced video:

There are strict rules requiring that each and every fact presented in an FBI request to electronically spy on a U.S. citizen be extreme-vetted for accuracy — and presented to the court*only if verified:

Rule 13. Correction of Misstatement or Omission; Disclosure of Non-Compliance.
(a) Correction ofMaterial Facts. Ifthe government discovers that a submission to the Court contained a misstatement or omission of material fact, the government, in writing, must immediately inform the Judge to whom the submission was made of:
(1) the misstatement or omission;
(2) any necessary correction;
(3) the facts and circumstances relevant to the misstatement or omission;
(4) any modifications the government has made or proposes to make in how it will implement any authority or approval granted by the Court; and
(5) how the government proposes to dispose ofor treat any information obtained as a result ofthe misstatement or omission.
(b) Disclosure ofNon-Compliance. Ifthe government discovers that any authority or approval granted by the Court has been implemented in a manner that did not comply with the Court's authorization or approval or with applicable law, the government, in writing, must immediately inform the Judge to whom the submission was made of:
(1) the non-compliance;
(2) the facts and circumstances relevant to the non-compliance;
(3) any modifications the government has made or proposes to make in how it will implement any authority or approval granted by the Court; and
(4) how the government proposes to dispose of or treat any information obtained as a result ofthe non-compliance.

Commonly referred to as “Woods procedures” due to the draftee, Michael Woods, who as then head of a the Office of General Counsel’s National Security Law Unit. They were instituted in April 2001 to “ensure accuracy with regard to … the facts supporting probable cause” after recurring instances, presumably inadvertent, in which the FBI had presented inaccurate information to the FISA court.*

The Woods procedures came to be when III Sticks was The Director of the FBI.

*The completed FISA application*requires approval*through the FBI chain of command “including a Supervisor, the Chief Division Counsel (the highest lawyer within that FBI field office), and finally, the Special Agent in Charge of the field office, before making its way to FBI Headquarters to get approval by (at least) the Unit-level Supervisor there.”
*
At FBI headquarters, an “action memorandum” is prepared with additional facts culled by analytical personnel assigned to espionage allegations involving certain foreign powers.*
*
Next, it goes to the Justice Department “where attorneys from the National Security Division comb through the application to verify all the assertions made in it. “DOJ verifies the accuracy of every fact stated in the application. If anything looks unsubstantiated, the application is sent back to the FBI to provide additional evidentiary support – this continues until DOJ is satisfied that the facts in the FISA application can both be corroborated and meet the legal standards for the court. After getting sign-off from a senior DOJ official.
*
Name names-who were the signatories?

This should all be known but not so far not been made public. As there are even more reviews and processes regarding government applications for wiretaps designed to make sure inaccurate or unverified information isn’t used.*
*
In November 2002, (again during III Stick’s tenure) the FBI implemented a special FISA Unit with a unit chief and six staffers, and installed an automated tracking system that connects field offices, headquarters, the National Security Law Branch and the Office of Intelligence, allowing participants to track the process during each stage.
*
Starting March 1, 2003, the FBI required field offices to confirm they’ve verified the accuracy of facts presented to the court through the case agent, the field office’s Chief Division Counsel and the Special Agent in Charge.
*
All of this information was provided to Congress in 2003. The FBI director at the time*also ordered that any issue as to whether a FISA application was factually sufficient was to be brought to his attention. Personally. III Sticks. What process did his boy Comey follow for FISA warrants and was it followed during any of Trump campaign members investigations and warrant applications?

Then we get to the “unmasking” and leaking.
*
For Flynn as an example:

“Flynn was reportedly one of the four Trump associates initially placed under FBI investigation.The bureau opened a counterintelligence investigation, code-named “Crossfire Hurricane,” on July 31, 2016, after receiving a tip from the Australian government regarding Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos.”
https://dailycaller.com/2019/04/20/f...arlier-russia/

“Remember that the Obama Justice Department didn't just go to the FISA court and represent there was probable cause of collusion that we now know didn't exist on a single occasion," Ratcliffe said. "They did so four times over a year, and so how is that allowed to happen and what steps is he taking, what investigations are underway, and what assurances can he give the American people that there will be accountability for folks who made false verifications about a dossier that was unverifiable because it was untrue."

You, pretending to be too stupid to realize you threatened someone by saying he better kill you if he gets the chance, or that you want to provide an explanation in person.

It's filled with deflection, for sure. Anything but discussing the topic.
